New ArchiLogs Log Home Add-On for ArchiCAD 12 Available from ICS Cambridge, Mass, February 5, 2009
ArchiLogs, a tailored BIM (Building Information Modeling) solution developed by Micro Aided Design Ltd. for log home designers, manufacturers, and dealers, is now available through ICS (Integrated CADD Services). Powered by Graphisoft® ArchiCAD®, a world leader in computer-aided design (CAD), ArchiLogs enhances ArchiCAD’s functionality for the log home industry by adding log-specific construction tools and objects. Further customization of ArchiLogs can be achieved easily, allowing log home manufacturers to customize ArchiLogs to their proprietary design solutions and patented details. ArchiLogs also includes the ability to enable CNC code printing.
Because ArchiLogs is powered by ArchiCAD 12, users gain additional benefits including the ability to produce high-quality renderings for use in client presentations and marketing materials, producing log wall elevations directly from their 3D models, and having all documents in a single file.
